“Rare find!”
Reviewed May 13, 2013

Though Silicon Valley is full of new money, but very few delicate and sophisticated boutique hotels, but Hotel Los Gatos is one! Very impressed and surprised! Wonderful layout of the hotel, beautiful rooms and tasteful, consistent designs through out. The location is walking distance to town, though first time, a bit hard to find from highway 17. We must return!

Dear Jan, Vicki, Kathy, Brayton, Erika,

Perfect – thank you for the wine & chocolate charge details.

We, too, have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel, the delicious food and wonderful personal attention from everyone on your team. You can be assured we'll be back again…if I have anything to say about it!!

Thank you for everything – truly!

See you next Wednesday ;-)

My Best,
Erica

We stayed at this boutique hotel back in June and really loved it, so we decided to book again for one night as a quick overnight stay before we caught our direct flight to Maui out of San Jose Airport on an early morning departure. On our last visit, I signed up for their " I Prefer " guest appreciation program, as I usually like to belong to as many hotel guest loyalty memberships as possible, since they can offer some really great perks. This one really paid off as we were upgraded to a one bedroom suite and also had a half bottle of Testerossa Pinot Noir wine and handmade chocolates waiting for us in the room when we arrived! What a surprise that was for having only stayed there one time before. The staff is always outstanding and very helpful in every way. The rooms are immaculate and elegantly decorated to the point that you feel like your a guest in a private Mediterranean villa. They have a nice little "breakfast for a fee" set up off the lobby, but coffee and tea are complimentary and if you would like something more substantial there are a lot of great choices within walking distance of the hotel. Whether you are looking for just a quick overnight stay, or a romantic weekend away from the kids, this hotel is the absolute best in Los Gatos. Book as early as you can, as this hotel is often fully booked and there really is no comparable hotel avaliable in Los Gatos.

The only reason I didn't return home a wreck was because I got to stay this night with you guys. Again, Joe and Jason went out of their way ( particularly to make sure I had everything I needed, even going as far to call me in my room to make sure I knew room service would be closing soon ) I 'm scattered It was a good thing he did - I ordered the Greek salad and it was amazing

-We were in town to see a concert at The Winery in Saratoga. The venue lists this property as a lodging option. After a bit of research, it was obvious that this is where we needed to stay, and booked through the 'iprefer' website, giving us a few added perks.

The property gives off a very sopisticated vibe. Every staff member we came in contact with was polite and helpful. Our pool courtyard room was comfortable and the pool area, while small, was perfect for lounging during our short stay.

There are several outdoor areas to relax in and we were able to enjoy our complimentary breakfast outdoors in the courtyard off the lobby.

Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel. They appear to have thought everything out for you ahead of time. An umbrella in the closet next to the robes, chilled bottled water at the pool, even a little note saying they respect your 'do not disturb' sign and apologize for missing your turn down service.

Loved care you took in decor and design of room and how nice everyone was. Thank you so much!!
